Business Coordinator

The Business Coordinator provides support and coordination of a variety of business activities, including reviewing business documents and assisting in developing, monitoring and reporting accounts and budget data; expected to effectively handle external and internal customers at all levels.

The Event Technician III

will provide directing, score and/or video editing support to the EMPAC production teams for set-up, load in, execution and strike activities in the EMPAC building.

The Event Technician II

will provide camera operation and/or lighting technician support to the EMPAC production teams for set-up, load in, execution and strike activities in the EMPAC building.

The Event Technician I

will provide camera shading and/or production support to the EMPAC production teams for set-up, load in, execution and strike activities in the EMPAC building.

Production Technician II

Provides occasional technical support as needed for EMPAC activities. Specific titles include:

Stage Electrician – Responsibilities include helping to hang, focus, and strike high end lighting instruments for shows and rental events.

Stage Carpenter – Responsibilities include assisting to construct, coordinate, and adapt scenery and scenic elements for production and events, load in/out and assist with strikes and rentals.

Rigger – Responsibilities include running the rail for load-ins, outs, rehearsals, and performances.

Wardrobe Manager – Responsibilities include strategic planning and organization of wardrobe area, creation of wardrobe paperwork, preparation of dressing room areas, load-in ad strike costumes, assisting actors with dressing and quick changes, maintenance of costumes and supervision of wardrobe crew.

Lighting Console Operator – Primary Duties include programming and operating the Lighting Console for a production and assisting with load-ins, focus and strike for a production

Art Handler – Responsibilities include the safe handling and movement of works of art; uncrating and crating of art, accurately labeling and/or tagging works of arts and locations, ensuring that works of art are cared for and house appropriately and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Production Technician III

Provides occasional technical support as needed for EMPAC activities. Specific titles include:

Art Handler, Sr. – Responsibilities include oversight of the preparation and installation of collection/special exhibits including mounting, painting, use of power tools, lighting, metal working, carpentry, installation, packaging and shipping. Provide input and ideas regarding Managers/curators.

Production Technician Supervisor – Responsible for supervision of team of workers and stage/lighting plots, tech riders and handles the crew and venue when needed.

Stage Manager – Responsibilities include supervision of the cast and crew, organization and running of all rehearsals and calling of production.
